If you require an address format of PAF exact address lines and town,county and postcode in fixed fields, use the PAF Address service.
The Name Reformatting service will, free of charge, identify the following distinct elements from your supplied name:
The Gender and Salutation Appending service will identify the gender and provide an appropriate salutation for each of your records. If we are unable to determine an appropriate salutation, "Dear Customer" is provided by default.
The ER Name Enhancement and Name & Address Verification service will verify if an individual is present on the Electoral Roll.
Where an address has been verified we will endeavour to identify the individual.
If the name is only supplied with an initial, we will endeavour to find and append a full forename to the record.
The National Change of Address (NCOA) Redirection Flag and NCOA Enhanced Address service will identify individuals and families who have moved in the last five years. The file contains the details of individuals who have paid the Royal Mail to have their mail redirected to another address. However many times an individual or family have moved, our service will track them to their current address.
When a match is identified we will supply the new address.
The current and previous addresses attached to a matched individual are taken into consideration in the de-duplication and suppression services.
NCOA also identifies whether one individual or the whole family is moving. Where it is identified that the whole family are moving, then all individuals with the same surname at the given address are recognised as moving.
Please note this file can only be used on customer data.

The Baby MPS Flagging service will, free of charge, identify individuals who have suffered from a still born birth, the death of a child or suffered a miscarriage in the last year.
The Baby MPS file is supplied and maintained by the Direct Marketing Association.
The MPS Flagging service will identify individuals who have requested not to receive unsolicited mail. It is considered good practice to use this file on all mailings to prospective customers. However, it is not a requirement to use it on customer data.

Deceased flagging allows you to remove either all family members or all individuals living at the same address as the deceased. These can be identified through unique reference numbers applied during de-duplication process. See de-duplication for further information.
